Our company is in charge of safety of liquid dangerous goods in bulk handling, meaning that we must make sure that the risks are minimized as much as possible when operating such cargoes and that in case of a critical situation there is highly trained personnel to deal with it.

Our branches divide in:

- Terminal Inspection

- Ship Inspection

- Ship Monitoring

- Gas Free Certification

Terminals are inspected periodically and depending upon their compliance with international/national regulations, they receive or not the “Certificate of Fitness” which they cannot operate without. This inspection is conducted by a Safety Inspector specialized in terminals.

When calling into Romanian ports, tankers are being inspected before starting cargo operations. The inspection is conducted by a Safety Inspector which evaluates the ship following a precise check-list and if the ship complies with the demands it is accepted for loading/ discharging and an Operation Permit is rendered.

After the safety inspection, a Safety Officer remains onboard to supervise the whole cargo operation. Safety Officers change each-other in shifts of 8 hours.

In case an incident occurs, the operation is stopped and the ship is reevaluated by a Safety Inspector before resuming. In case a ship must enter a Romanian shipyard for repairs, our Company is the only one to render the Gas Free Certificate through our highly qualified inspectors.

J.J.Marine is built on a very healthy base and our personnel is carefully trained and instructed in order to provide the best results possible and to eliminate the possibility of accident occurrence.
