Our

in bulk handling, meaning that we must make sure that the
risks are minimized as much as possible when operating
such cargoes and that in case of a critical situation there
is highly trained personnel to deal with it.
Our
branches divide in:
-
Terminal Inspection
-
Ship Inspection
-
Ship Monitoring
-
Gas Free Certification
Terminals
are inspected periodically and depending upon their
compliance with international/national regulations, they
receive or not the “Certificate of
Fitness” which they cannot
operate without. This inspection is conducted by a Safety
Inspector specialized in terminals.
When
calling into Romanian ports, tankers are being inspected
before starting cargo operations. The inspection is conducted
by a Safety Inspector which evaluates the ship following
a precise check-list and if the ship complies with the
demands it is accepted for loading/ discharging and an
Operation Permit is rendered.
After
the safety inspection, a Safety Officer remains onboard
to supervise the whole cargo operation. Safety Officers
change each-other in shifts of 8 hours.
